Hey, laptops *were* amazing after only having 20lb “portable” computers. My first PowerBook was a revelation.
Things I love about my phone: I have dropped it repeatedly, and yet it shows only minor signs of abuse. Also, it mostly does what I want.
Things I loathe about it: a battery that is becoming flakier by the day. A stupid plan that won’t let me tether. International data roaming.
Those last two mean I’ll be changing providers soon. But the battery thing is making me antsy to get a new phone. And yet I want to hold out
until fall if I can, to get the next-gen device.
All this by way of saying that I am increasingly impatient, and I think it’s making my phone-dropping habit worse.
