I mentioned sometime back that I started swimming — really swimming, laps and laps — for the first time in my life this summer. I’m slow, and will always be slow, but I’ve gotten modestly less slow over time. +

It only just hit me, when I was asked to log in to a new administrative system I’m likely to spend hours on here on campus and it offered me “dark mode,” that dark mode is not a fucking feature. It’s a means to keep you working past optical capacity.
